Sofiane Feghouli is innocent OK

Well, the FA has rescinded the red card for Sofiane Feghouli. It won't help change the result but the FA realised that if even Gary Neville is on our side then Mike Dean was in the wrong. Incidentally, close viewing of Match of the Day reveals that as the players come on to the pitch, referee Mike Dean picks up the match ball and gets a face full of bubbles from West Ham's bubble machine. You do wonder if being soft soaped put him in a bad mood for the rest of the game.

Meanwhile Feghouli will be available for the Man City game. He was actually having his best 15 minutes in a West Ham shirt until his dismissal. It was the first game Feghouli had started in the league for West Ham, and perhaps he's a confidence player who performs better when selected in the starting line-up rather than having to come on as a sub and try to change games. The crowd might be more forgiving of him too now he's become a cause célèbre  It would be good to see him start against City and try and ignite his Hammers career.
