He should be so lucky...

Enough is enough. What sort of manager forgets his lucky scarf? Granty forgot his claret and blue scarf at Newcastle last night and the rest is horrible history.

Did Roberto Mancini forget his lucky blue and white scarf at Arsenal last night?

Would Matt forget his lucky Dukla Prague away shirt?

Would I forget my Fortune's Always Hiding retro hooped away shirt worn to the Play-Off Final?

Would Fraser forget his lucky cigars?

Would DC forget to check the Overground status on the Tfl website?

Would Nigel forget to take a picture of himself at a new away ground?

Would The Gav forget his CAMRA guide?

Fail to prepare, Avram, and prepare to fail.

They say if you can't be good, be lucky - not sure Avram is either

And he claimed that Sunderland had lost 6-0 at Newcastle, when they lost 5-1. It was Villa who lost there 6-0. Us anoraks would never make such a mistake...

He's also admitted a mistake in talking about the Sidwell deal before it was finalised...

Meanwhile Ben Haim has gone back to Portsmouth. He had a lot of early injury problems but was one of the better players in recent games.

Stanislas has managed to join the massed ranks of the injured now, along with young left back Jordan Brown, who might have featured tomorrow.

I've said it before - our top signing priority should be a medical team that can keep at least a few of the squad fit, the way they manage it at Birmingham, Stoke and other more professional clubs.

Good point about injuries. Grant seems to imply it was Karren Brady who blabbed about Sidwell in her Sun column today…
